Competitive defeats to Milan, Palermo and Trabzonspor mean Inter haven't started a season this poorly since 1921.
The Nerazzurri were beaten by their city rivals in the Italian Super Cup last month, fell 4-3 in Sicily on Sunday and started this term's Champions League with a 1-0 shock last night.
Not since 1921-22, have the Milanese outfit struggled so much at the beginning of the campaign when they lost five League games in a row to Legnano, Torino, Pisa, Modena and Alessandria.
The last time they lost three competitive games at any part during a season was in April 2000 League defeats to Udinese and Juventus, as well as a Coppa loss to Lazio.
