Edy Reja saw Lazio fritter away their Europa League match against Vaslui with “a 10-15 minute blackout period.”
Djibril Cissè had given them the lead, but the Romanians scored twice in quick succession and Luciano Zauri was sent off, though Giuseppe Sculli snatched a 2-2 draw.
“We had that 10-15 minute blackout period in which we certainly weren't as sharp as we had been until then,” said the Coach.
“We went behind, then I must say there was a great reaction from the squad and, considering how things were going, I consider it an important result.
“It's a shame about the red card, as we struggled with a man down. We expected to get the full points.
“Even if Vaslui have stronger match fitness, our quality is still superior. We have to understand that no game in Europe is guaranteed. I hope we can learn from this.
“We need more intensity, more concentration and to score the chances we do create.”
