Mark Iuliano has praised the transfer moves of former club Juventus, but feels they should have signed a new centre-back.
The Old Lady have had another busy summer trying to reinforce their squad, yet the former stopper does have some concerns.
"The Juventus defensive line is not bad, but it is missing someone of stature alongside Giorgio Chiellini in the middle," he told Radio Mana Mana.
"Saying that, if new boss Antonio Conte made the decisions he did then he would have had good reason to."
Iuliano knows Conte well having played alongside him for the Old Lady during their golden period of the 1990s.
"Antonio will give his soul and a good winning mentality to this team," the former Italian international added.
"Something already seems to have changed, even if it is to early to say that for sure."
Juve started the campaign with a 4-1 win over Parma and Iuliano likes how the Old Lady are shaping up.
"Let's leave Andrea Pirlo as everyone knows him," he added.
"I've seen some good qualities in Marcelo Estigarribia. I watched him in the Copa America and he left a good impression.
"Eljero Elia is a good player too, while Mirko Vucinic is a great buy.
"I'm curious to see whether Milos Krasic will be the player who was good at the start of last season or the bad one at the end of it."
