Igor Campedelli has claimed that refereeing decisions are going against his Cesena team, in favour of the bigger clubs.
The Cavallucci Marini President was speaking specifically about the performance of the match officials in Cesena's game at the weekend away to Milan.
"We have been penalised, but I wanted to believe that it is just an oversight, although the fact that some situations regularly reoccur makes you think."
Campedelli referenced a moment just after half-time, when Rossoneri defender Taye Taiwo fouled Roberto Guana.
The full-back had already been booked, but escaped what Campedelli believes was a punishable offence with a warning. Milan then substituted the player for Gianluca Zambrotta.
"He should have been expelled, and [Massimiliano] Allegri admitted the same.
"The fact is that a failure to penalise a foul against a large team raises a fuss, but if [a decision] goes against a small team it is unnoticed. Ultimately it weighs the same, and we are last."
