Andrea Barzagli has cooled the enthusiasm around Juventus after their win over Milan. "It's too soon to be Scudetto favourites."
Juventus and Udinese currently find themselves at the top of the standings after the Old Lady beat the Rossoneri 2-0 on Sunday.
"The win against Milan was important, but I continue to maintain that Milan and Inter, alongside Napoli and Roma, will be protagonists this season," he stated.
"We are also there, but we'll have to fight for it," added the defender who has been recalled to the Italy squad.
"We're doing well, but we are still under construction and it is far too soon to say that we are favourites for the title."
Juventus finished the last two campaigns in seventh place, but they have started life under new boss Antonio Conte in fine fashion.
"Conte has great charisma," added the 2006 World Cup winner. "He's transmitting his mentality to us and his Juventus spirit."
