Diego Simeone had a brief spell in charge of Catania, but wants a more prestigious job. “Coaching Lazio is my dream.”
The former Inter and Biancocelesti midfielder was in charge of the Sicilians from January to June, but left at the end of the campaign.
“After my experience at Catania, I returned to Argentina. My objective is to work in Italy again, hopefully at Lazio,” said ‘Cholo' Simeone.
“Coaching Lazio is my dream. One day I hope to achieve it.”
He played for the club from 1999 to 2003, while he began working at Racing Avellaneda in June 2011.
