Luis Figo is adamant that Wesley Sneijder and Douglas Maicon can revive the fortunes of Inter this season.
The Nerazzurri have had a disastrous start to the campaign which saw boss Gian Piero Gasperini replaced by Claudio Ranieri.
In Serie A, they've only collected four points from five games, but the club ambassador insists the Scudetto is still a possibility – especially once two key players return to full fitness.
"We'll get back on track with Sneijder and Maicon," the former Portuguese international told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"This period of injuries will pass.
"Inter are still hungry for success and they'll demonstrate that. I'm convinced that Inter can win the title again this season."
The Nerazzurri, who saw city rivals Milan succeed them as Italian champions last term, face an away game at Catania in Week 7.
