President Maurizio Zamparini demands Palermo “have no alibis” when taking on Milan at San Siro this evening.
“It won't be an easy game, that is certain,” commented the patron. “However, I expect consistency and confirmation of recent good results from my team.
“It's true Federico Balzaretti is suspended and Fabrizio Miccoli in doubt, so there are difficulties, but I don't want them to become alibis. We can do well anyway.”
Palermo are unusually ahead of the reigning Serie A Champions in the table and have beaten Milan in three of their last four top flight encounters.
“The Rossoneri are a top team and will want to make up for recent performances. We lost 3-1 here last season, so I wouldn't say we are their bête noir,” added Zamparini.
