Marek Hamsik has played down the importance of Napoli's Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
The two teams meet at the Stadio San Paolo on Tuesday, but the attacking midfielder insists the tie won't decide anything in terms of qualification.
"I don't think the game will be decisive with regards to who qualifies from the group and who doesn't," said the ex-Brescia man.
Bayern top the section with two wins from two, while Napoli are second on four points. Manchester City have one point so far, while Villarreal have lost both of their ties.
"We have the advantage of playing at home," continued Hamsik. "This is also a game that you dream of playing as a child."
Although the Azzurri have impressed in Europe, their loss to Parma on Saturday was their second of the Serie A campaign.
"It's hard in the championship because the teams that come here are ready for a war and you need one special touch to unlock the game," he added.
"Saying that, by trying to win the game on Saturday, we left Parma too much space…"
