Siena have assured the unhappy Gaetano D'Agostino that he is a part of their plans for the 2011-12 campaign.
The summer signing from Fiorentina is frustrated by his lack of playing time with the Tuscan minnows and made that very clear on Monday.
However, Siena sporting director Giorgio Perinetti has told the Italian international that he is a key part of their squad.
"D'Agostino is part of our plans," Perinetti noted. "He's the biggest investment that this club has ever made.
"He's had a few fitness issues that he is getting over and he'll be ready to give us what we expect from him over the next few games.
"He's worked very hard during the international break to get himself back into form and the Coach is waiting for him because he is a player who inspires in the offensive phase.
"There are no problems, but he also needs to respect the performances of his teammates."
