The agents of Gaston Ramirez have arrived in Italy to negotiate a new Bologna contract for the player.
Ramirez is one of the club's most prized assets and although he's tied to the outfit until June 2015, he's only on €220,000 a season.
Whispers suggest that Bologna are prepared to offer him new terms worth around €550,000 a campaign, with bonus clauses that could see that figure rise to €800,000.
The attacking midfielder, who was wanted by a host of clubs in the summer, will also have a release clause inserted into his deal.
That will be set at around €14m and will allow the player to move on if any club offers Bologna such an amount.
The Uruguayan, still just 20, joined the Rossoblu from Penarol in the summer of 2010.
Fiorentina, Roma, Udinese and Juventus all showed an interest in the international before the summer window closed.
