Fiorentina director of sport Pantaleo Corvino believes Milan have what it takes to win the Scudetto this season.
Max Allegri's side currently lead Serie A after 15 games, opening up a three-point advantage over Lazio as the winter break approaches.
Interviewed in Il Corriere dello Sport, Corvino was asked if he believes Milan are equipped to hold on to their lead.
"Yes," he said. "It's an escape to victory."
Corvino was also very complimentary towards Napoli, calling Edinson Cavani the best foreign player in the League.
"To be like Fiorentina in the last four years, Napoli obviously have to finish ahead of Milan twice and ahead of Roma twice, and narrowly missed out on a UEFA Cup Final and a Champions League Quarter-Final."
Asked if he'll reinforce the team in January, Corvino said: "The market in wintertime offers few possibilities, but every team has to be vigilant to see if there is a chance."
