Andrea Caracciolo got his first goal of the campaign to earn a late point in Turin. “At last I managed to break my deadlock.”
The Genoa hitman came off the bench in tonight's 2-2 draw with Juventus and flicked in at the near post from Juraj Kucka's assist.
“We believed that we could come here for a result,” Caracciolo told Sky Sport Italia.
“I am happy at scoring the goal, but I could've made it 3-2 from the corner kick.”
Juve have conceded as many in this match as throughout the campaign on home turf, having previously let in just two in three games.
Meanwhile, Genoa had not even picked up a point in Turin since 1994.
“It's not easy to come here to Turin and get a point. Juventus are a great side and this stadium is wonderful.
“Was this performance a response to criticism of Alberto Malesani? There will be more responses in future too.”
