Marco Giampaolo admits “there will be a clear the air meeting” with President Igor Campedelli.
The Sea Horses are propping up the table after today's 2-0 defeat to Siena, managing just two points from seven games.
“I still have a good rapport with President Campedelli and naturally there will be a clear the air meeting in private soon, in the light of unsatisfactory results.”
Reports suggest Giampaolo will be sacked over the next few days and make way for Davide Ballardini.
“I am a Coach who at this moment is leading a squad in difficulty. There have been positive performances, such as against Chievo and Fiorentina, but today I admit we deserved to lose.
“Unfortunately the table is not good to look at and every mistake can be fatal. It is difficult to analyse the situation now, so we must only work with effort.”
Giampaolo's Last Chance Saloon could be on Wednesday evening against his former club Cagliari.
