Antonio Nocerino is struggling to comprehend that he scored a hat-trick for Milan on Wednesday night.
The summer signing from Palermo, who is known more for his tackling than shooting, grabbed three in a 4-1 win over Parma.
"To be honest, I still don't really know what has happened," the Italian international told the Corriere dello Sport.
"I'd previously only scored three goals across an entire campaign…"
Nocerino was a transfer deadline day capture and, after last night's heroics, is actually his side's top scorer in the League with four goals.
"It's not even worth talking about that statistic," the ex-Juventus man noted. "Our forward players will get a lot of goals that will take us to the top of the table.
"That is our objective, one that we can hopefully achieve before the international break in November."
Nocerino followed in the footsteps of Kevin Prince Boateng after the latter scored a treble in the 4-3 win at Lecce on Sunday.
Milan are now just two points behind leaders Juventus.
