Christian Maggio says he's not concerned about the delay in signing a new contract with Napoli.
The two parties have been in talks for some time, but a compromise has yet to be reached between the Azzurri and his agent.
"I know that my new contract depends on my performances," the Italian international told Radio Marte.
"We'll have to see if a deal can be done, but all I am concerned about right now is working hard and doing my best for this club."
The right-sided midfielder, who is a regular in the Giro Azzurro under Cesare Prandelli, is currently tied to the Stadio San Paolo outfit until June 2013.
Maggio scored in the 2-0 win over Udinese on Wednesday to continue his fine form.
"This is my best year ever and this Napoli team is the strongest side that I have ever been a part of," the former Sampdoria man continued.
