Vice-President Adriano Galliani says that Milan will, in all probability, ignore the January transfer window.
The Rossoneri have been paired with a January bid for Riccardo Montolivo of Fiorentina, but Galliani has rejected that idea.
"Montolivo? I don't believe we will conduct any business during January, no buying or selling," Galliani commented.
"Last year we only made the additions that we did because of the number of injuries that we had sustained.
"This season though, once the likes of Clarence Seedorf, Gennaro Gattuso and Mathieu Flamini have recovered, we'll be fine in midfield."
Gattuso is currently sidelined with vision problems caused by a paralysis of a cranial nerve.
"We want him to get back to playing football again," continued the Milan official. "The doctors say that the problem can spontaneously resolve itself between two and six months.
"I'm hoping that in the next few weeks Rino will ring me up and tell me that his eye is fine again.
"He's training so he would therefore be available relatively quickly once his eye problem is sorted out."
