Alessandro Del Piero has sent a message of support to hospitalised Milan forward Antonio Cassano.
The striker has been undergoing tests in a Milan clinic since Saturday night after feeling unwell on the plane home from his club's 3-2 win at Roma.
"Get well soon Antonio," the Juventus captain said on his Facebook page. "I hope to see you back in action as quickly as possible. Good luck!"
It's unclear what Cassano is actually suffering from, but unconfirmed whispers suggest he may have had a small stroke.
Del Piero and Cassano were Italian international teammates during Alex's days in the Giro Azzurro.
It's unclear how much longer Cassano will be in hospital for – or indeed when he could return to action for club and country.
