It's not April 1, but there are some reports in Italy linking Milan with a January move for Juventus idol Alessandro Del Piero.
The Rossoneri are considering the addition of a new forward given that Antonio Cassano could be out of action for the next six months following heart surgery.
The champions have ben paired with a number of players already, but perhaps the oddest rumour is the association with Del Piero.
Juve announced recently that the forward, almost 37, would be leaving the Old Lady at the end of the season after 19 years with the outfit.
Given his lack of use so far this term, some are suggesting that the No 10 could be tempted by an immediate San Siro switch.
That possibility does seem a little remote though after the player has made it clear that he wouldn't move to another Italian club after Juventus.
The Old Lady are also unlikely to allow such an icon to join a rival club like Milan with just six months left on his contract.
