Franco Colomba was ‘presented’ to the media all over again to remember his Parma debut, as he faces Lazio.
Director of sport Pietro Leonardi decided to surprise the tactician by taking part in the Press conference and putting a scarf around his neck, effectively replaying the presentation of this new arrival that took place in April.
“It was a nice surprise and it’s time we all start to take the drama out of football, otherwise every defeat seems like torture and every victory a triumph,” said Colomba.
“Instead it is a long campaign and each game is a stepping stone. We have started this season with a positive outlook and I think the squad wants to do well.”
Colomba will be hoping for a better result against Lazio this time out, as he lost that debut 2-0.
“This is one of our many tests against a strong side. In the past we proved that we can play against everyone and give our all to climb back up the table.
“Although we respect Lazio, we are also aware that we have the weapons to hurt them.”
