Wesley Sneijder is confident that teammate Luc Castaignos will soon prove his worth at Italian giants Inter.
The 19-year-old joined the Nerazzurri over the summer after impressing for Feyenoord as a teenager in his homeland.
The striker featured heavily in pre-season, but he’s failed to shine in Serie A so far and was criticised for his substitute appearance in the 2-1 defeat to Juventus.
“Luc is showing us some really excellent things in training where he is playing very well,” Sneijder commented.
“However, he’s lacking a bit of luck in the games themselves where he seems a bit stuck,” the playmaker added.
“Nevertheless, that is only normal for a youngster who finds himself playing at a great club. Luc has demonstrated that he is a very good player.”
