Napoli “have viewed some Queens Park Rangers players,” revealed transfer consultant Gianni Di Marzio.
The London club are surprisingly acting as a potential feeder for the Stadio San Paolo giants.
“There are many names linked with the Azzurri and I can say with certainty that the Napoli directors came to view some Queens Park Rangers players,” Di Marzio told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“I really hope they are going to make a bid for Adel Taarabt, the Moroccan striker. He was born in 1989, is very extrovert and spectacular, a real juggler of football.
“He is a player who belongs on the big stage and could be Walter Mazzarri’s pupil, seeing as he can cover many positions in attack.
“The time has come for Napoli to sign a top player, now that they are famous in Europe.”
