Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar is ready for his comeback in the Club World Cup. “I can't wait to play.”
The shot-stopper was among many of his teammates to be suffering from muscular problems this season, but is regaining his fitness in time for the Abu Dhabi tournament.
“This is something truly important for me, as in all of my career I have never been on the sidelines for a long time,” said the Brazilian.
“Now I am training with the squad and I think that I'll be there for the December 15 match. I am optimistic and hope to enjoy the kind of celebration we only get in Italy for an important trophy like this.
“Thank God I am in good shape and I can't wait to play.”
Julio Cesar is likely to face fellow Brazilians Internacional in the Club World Cup Final.
“We are all aware of the opportunity we have here. This is a trophy that means a great deal in South America, but also in Europe, especially for us.”
