Former Serie A and international striker Christian Vieri will take part in Italy’s version of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 38-year-old will be one of the celebrities for RAI’s ‘Ballando con le Stelle’ show that will kick off on January 7.
Vieri, who hasn’t played football since he rescinded his contract at Atalanta in April 2009, will reportedly net €800,000 to take part in the show.
The scorer of 23 goals in 49 caps for Italy, Vieri was once the world’s most expensive footballer after his move from Lazio to Inter in 1999.
The Bologna-born centre-forward played for 13 clubs during his career – including Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Milan.
