Catania hitman Gonzalo Bergessio is “dreaming of a goal against Palermo in the Sicilian derby.”
The Argentine has pushed Maxi Lopez out of the starting XI this season and hopes to repay Coach Vincenzo Montella for that faith.
“I still have to prove my worth at Catania,” he told Itasportpress. “This is why I am dreaming of a goal against Palermo in the Sicilian derby. It is such a huge game for the city and always has a certain special air around it.”
Meanwhile, the Elefantini take on Chievo this weekend in a relegation tussle.
“We have been preparing for two weeks, as it’s a direct head-to-head with one of our rivals for positions. It is in these matches that we absolutely need to get results.
“Chievo are a side who press hard and are determined, so we’ve got to beat them at their own game. We must be even more aggressive.”
