Francesco Guidolin’s Udinese may be top of the table and face Parma on Sunday, but he feels “we struggle to get a run of consecutive wins.”
The Friulani are the joint Serie A leaders with Lazio going into this weekend and could well be there on their own come Monday.
“We are experiencing this moment with great calm, knowing it could well not last,” said the Coach.
“There are teams who can notch up five or six consecutive wins, but we struggle to do something like that. We like being where we are, but we’re only a quarter of the way through the season and must not create false hope.
“Parma are a team I know very well, both in terms of the Tardini atmosphere and many of their players. I also admire their Coach Franco Colomba. I was happy at Parma and hope they remember me as fondly as I recall them.
“We must not make the same mistake we did last year against them, when we got off to a sluggish start.”
