Milan legend Alessandro Costacurta thinks he knows the ideal candidate to replace Antonio Cassano. “Carlos Tevez would be perfect.”
The Rossoneri are expected to bring in a new forward in January given that Cassano could be sidelined for around six months following heart surgery.
Tevez is looking for a new club after falling out with Manchester City and the Argentine has been suggested as a possible loan target.
“Tevez would be perfect to substitute Cassano,” Costacurta stated, even if he does have some concerns about the volatile Argentine.
“I get the impression that he could create some problems if he is left on the bench though – and that will happen at Milan when you consider the forwards they have in their squad.
“He would have to be managed properly.
“Nevertheless, he is the ideal attacker for Milan.”
Milan have also been paired with Catania striker Maxi Lopez and Fabio Quagliarella of Juventus.
