Roma will hold talks with Daniele De Rossi and Leandro Greco this week in an attempt to extend their contracts.
The midfield duo are only committed to the club until June 2012 which means they could leave on free transfers next summer if they don’t sign new deals.
De Rossi and his agent have been negotiating with the Giallorossi since the start of the season, but agreeing personal terms is proving problematic.
The Italian international reportedly wants a salary of around €7m, whereas the club’s initial offer was of closer to €5m.
Greco, meanwhile, is a 25-year-old who impressed with the Giallorossi last season under previous boss Claudio Ranieri.
De Rossi has one goal in 11 Serie A games this term, while Greco has appeared in just three top-flight matches under Luis Enrique.
