Roberto Mancini claims Manchester City will not be content with a point in Naples this evening. “This is our last chance.”
These two sides go head-to-head to see who will qualify from Group A alongside leaders Bayern Munich, as the third-placed team goes into the Europa League.
“I come home to win,” Mancini told Sky Sports. “We don't know any other way. We cannot change the way we play just for this one game. Playing for a draw is not in our mentality.
“This is the kind of match players like mine want to play in. It is what we have been building towards.
“Maybe we have come too far too quickly but we don't want to stop now. The last thing Manchester City want is Thursday nights in the Europa League.
“This is going to be difficult and demanding, so hard, but we are confident. You could say this is our last chance because defeat means the Champions League is probably over.”
Napoli earned a 1-1 draw at the City of Manchester stadium in the opening game of Group A.
