Kevin-Prince Boateng insists Milan “played well and proved we are strong” against Barcelona.
The Rossoneri were beaten 3-2 on home turf in a game that secures top of Champions League Group H for the Spaniards, although both teams were already qualified.
“Tonight we played well and proved we are strong when we play with concentration,” said Boateng.
“Barcelona are a great team, the best in the world, but you could see this evening we put in a fine performance and were unlucky.
“In any case, the important thing is that we have qualified for the last 16.”
The Ghanaian scored a sensational solo effort to make it 2-2 before the Xavi Hernandez winner.
“I just thought about shooting.”
