Taye Taiwo isn’t looking for a January move away from Italy. “He just wants to get into the Milan side,” said his representative.
The Nigerian joined the Rossoneri in the summer after his Marseille contract expired in June. However, he’s only appeared in two Serie A games and three Champions League matches since.
“There is nothing concrete with anyone else,” Fabio Parisi said to calciomercato.com when questioned about the transfer speculation surrounding his client.
“He has only been at Milan for a short period of time and his goal now is to get into the team, so that he can make a bigger contribution.”
The left-back, 26, has been paired with numerous sides across Europe recently, the latest being Portuguese giants Benfica.
“Taiwo is having a great time at Milan and he will get more chances to play at some stage,” Parisi continued.
“I don't think that any of these transfer rumours will materialise into anything and I have not had any contact with anyone from Benfica.”
