Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli reveals “Antonio Di Natale is under consideration” for an Azzurri place.
The Udinese veteran has won the Capocannoniere title twice in a row and is back on top of the scorers’ charts with nine goals this season, but has rarely featured for Italy since Prandelli took over.
“I did watch Udinese-Roma last night,” confessed Prandelli during a charity event.
“Di Natale is a player I am keeping under consideration.”
The Coach was also asked about Chievo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino, who complained he is ignored by the Azzurri.
“Sorrentino is an excellent goalkeeper, but for Italy he is blocked by a phenomenon like Gigi Buffon and some younger players with great potential.”
