Siena midfielder Gaetano D’Agostino is finding it hard to digest the Serie A defeat to Inter on Sunday.
The Nerazzurri collected the three points after Luc Castaignos netted in the 90th minute to deliver a 1-0 victory.
“Siena dominated the game and deserved a lot more than that,” the summer signing from Fiorentina noted.
“To be honest, I can’t really remember Inter having a shot on goal during the entire game at the Franchi...”
The stats suggest otherwise as Inter had four shots on target and the hosts didn’t have any. Siena had seven shots off target to their opponents’ five.
In possession terms, Inter reigned with a 65 per cent to 35 per cent margin, while they also had one more corner than the Tuscan minnows.
