Roma could take on League leaders Milan on Saturday night with third-choice 'keeper Alexander Doni in goal.
The Brazilian is in line for his first start of the campaign after Bogdan Lobont joined Julio Sergio on the treatment table.
Lobont began against Bari at the weekend, but was replaced at half-time by Doni due to injury. The Romanian shot-stopper badly twisted his right knee.
Although tests today have ruled out meniscus or ligament damage, Lobont will probably not recover in time for the weekend.
Doni is thus likely to get the nod given that Julio Sergio is unlikely to prove his fitness for the San Siro showdown.
The Brazilian suffered a thigh muscle strain in the warm-up ahead of last week's Champions League tie against Cluj.
