Parma have ruled out the possibility of losing Alberto Paloschi to Milan during the January transfer window.
The Under-21 international, who is co-owned by both clubs, has been mentioned as a possible replacement for the inured Pippo Inzaghi.
However, Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi insists that Paloschi's career will continue at the Stadio Tardini for now.
"It's true that Milan are strongly counting on him, but not in the immediate future," he told Sky Sport 24.
"For now I'm just anxiously awaiting his return to the field of play [after injury]," he added.
"We've only been able to use him for a year and a half of the three years that he has been here with us."
If all goes to plan, the youngster should return to Pasquale Marino's disposal at some stage in January.
