Marcelo Estigarribia has conceded that he’ll have to fight for his place in the Juventus first team.
The Paraguayan started in the 3-3 draw at Napoli on Tuesday, a game in which the left-winger scored his first goal for the Old Lady.
However, despite his encouraging display, it’s unclear whether he’ll again be named in the team against Cesena this weekend.
“There are 25 first team players here,” the South American noted. “You have to give 100 per cent in training.
“I have to demonstrate on a daily basis that I deserve to wear this shirt.
“Saying that, I have to admit that it is already satisfying to be able to train with so many champions.”
The Copa America star joined Juve in the summer on a €500,000 loan deal.
The Italian club will have the option to buy him outright from Deportivo Maldonado for €5m at the end of the season.
