In a huge shock, Mazembe have knocked Internacional out of the Club World Cup to reach the Final, potentially against Inter.
For months the general expectation has been that the final in Abu Dhabi would be between Brazilians Internacional and Champions League winners Inter.
However, in today's semi-final it was Congo club Mazembe who won 2-0 to sweep through to the Final.
Internacional had a strong start and threatened a goal early on, but on 53 minutes Kabangu broke the deadlock by taking advantage of a Bolivar defensive error.
Kadiaba denied Sorbis an equaliser soon after, but it was Mazembe who doubled their lead in the final stages with Kaluyituka's right-foot strike from the edge of the box.
If Inter get past South Korean outfit Seongnam on Wednesday, then they will face Mazembe in the Final on December 18.
Mazembe 2-0 Internacional
Scorers: Kabangu 53 (M), Kaluyituka 86 (M)
