New boy Miralem Pjanic has wasted no time in impressing Roma senators Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi.
The Bosnian joined the Giallorossi on transfer deadline after the Italian club handed Lyon €11m in a transfer fee.
Pjanic has been one of the players most-used by new boss Luis Enrique so far, scoring one goal in 11 League games to date.
“Pjanic is our strongest player,” captain Totti noted.
Fellow Roman De Rossi added: “I can confirm that.”
The 21-year-old is a gifted midfielder who represented Luxembourg at youth level.
Pjanic joined the Metz youth system in 2004 and eventually broke into the first team there. In 2008, he was snapped up by Lyon.
