Juventus boss Antonio Conte is destined for greatness as a Coach, says former Siena pupil Emanuele Calaiò.
Conte led the Tuscan minnows to Serie A promotion last season before joining the Old Lady of Italian football – the club he served so well as a player.
With the 42-year-old at the helm, the so far unbeaten Bianconeri find themselves at the top of the Serie A standings.
“I’m not surprised by what Conte has achieved,” the former Napoli striker told the Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday.
“Conte was one of the secrets behind our success during the last campaign. He’s a predestined Coach.
“He has hunger, grit and is someone that always wants to win. And he only selects the players who are in form and give more to the team.
“He’s also very good at transferring his warrior mentality to his squad.”
Conte started his coaching career at Arezzo, he then led Bari to Serie A until a disappointing and brief spell in the top flight with Atalanta.
