Franco Colomba confirms he could freeze Raffaele Palladino out of the Parma squad after the forward reacted angrily to a substitution.
Palladino came off the bench after just 20 minutes when Sebastian Giovinco picked up an injury during Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Cagliari.
However, Palladino was then replaced at the 77th minute and did not hide his frustration, arguing with the Coach on the touchline.
“I took Palladino off because he has been injured for a long time and was starting to struggle,” explained Colomba.
“It’s not up to me to decide if he will be frozen out of the squad, but rather it’s a decision for the club.
“I’m used to this sort of thing and a similar incident happened last year. Unfortunately now certain attitudes are commonplace in football.”
