Stevan Jovetic has not suffered any lesions, but Fiorentina are not clear when he’ll be able to play through the chronic hip condition.
The Montenegro international pulled out of Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Inter just hours before kick-off.
This evening the Viola released a statement confirming there were “no lesions” to the muscles or tendons.
However, Jovetic is suffering from a painful condition caused by compression of a nerve in his hip.
“Specific therapy is already underway. As for the prognosis, it will be evaluated over the next few days.”
