Sampdoria have opened the door for Angelo Palombo to leave in January. “At times even eternal love stories end.”
The captain pledged to remain loyal to the Blucerchiati even after their relegation into Serie B, but a series of disastrous results have prompted the club to reconsider.
“At times even eternal love stories end,” said director of sport Pasquale Sensibile.
“In any case, aside from contracts, the most important thing is the respect of the people. We are in a difficult moment for Samp and all have the moral obligation to feel we’re up for discussion.”
Juventus are the prime favourites to sign Palombo in the January transfer window, while Udinese are another option.
