Javier Pastore announced he has extended his Palermo contract until 2015 with a €60m buy-out clause, but also warned “from 2012 onwards we'll see.”
El Flaco has received numerous offers from the world's top clubs, including Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City.
President Maurizio Zamparini confirmed he had rejected a €50m bid from an undisclosed outfit this season.
“I am very happy here,” said Pastore after signing a new deal with a €60m buy-out clause.
“From 2012 onwards we'll see,” he added.
The contract is worth just €0.8m per season to begin with, growing in connection with performance.
The deal gives Palermo security after investing in the 21-year-old talent, but also freedom to sell when the right offer comes along.
