Palermo would consider selling Mauricio Pinilla to Fiorentina should the Viola table an acceptable offer.
The forward has been suggested as a possible transfer target in January as the Viola look for a new option in attack.
Boss Delio Rossi knows all about the South American after working with him at the Stadio Barbera last term.
“There has been no contact with Fiorentina, but you can never say never in football,” Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini told Firenze Viola.
“I hope that the player can get back to full fitness after his injury problems which haven’t allowed him to demonstrate his talent.
“However, at the same time, I’m ready to evaluate any possibilities that the winter transfer window may offer.
“If Fiorentina made me an important offer for Pinilla then who knows…”
The Chilean, born in 1984, has scored just twice in 11 Serie A games this season. However, he’s only started six of those ties.
