Spanish outfit Espanyol are pondering a January offer for Fiorentina attacker Alessio Cerci.
According to Catalan newspaper Sport, the outfit are ready to make enquiries about a possible transfer next month.
Cerci, formerly of Roma, has impressed in Tuscany over the last 18 months and was targeted by a variety of sides in the summer.
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini made an offer, but the English club’s bid was rejected by Viola sporting director Pantaleo Corvino.
Fiorentina may now consider selling the 24-year-old who has three goals in 11 Serie A appearances so far this season.
