Marco Borriello has won the praise of former teammate Massimo Ambrosini for the way he has settled in at Roma.
The Italian joined the capital club late in the transfer window after the Rossoneri swooped for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho.
"He's managed to settle in a tough environment," the midfielder noted ahead of the Serie A meeting between the two sides.
"Roma are a great team and there is some tough competition for places."
The San Siro captain also insisted that the decision to sell Marco to a rival was not made for footballing reasons.
"He was sold for economical aspects, not technical ones," added the former Italian international. "Marco is a friend and a great attacker."
