Serie B giants Sampdoria could target Gianni Munari of Fiorentina as they make January alterations to their midfield.
Doria have already allowed Daniele Dessena to move to Cagliari, while they are also expected to sell Angelo Palombo.
Munari, who only joined the Viola in the summer from Lecce, is being tipped as a likely target for the port club.
The 28-year-old, who was once owned by Palermo, has made 10 appearances for the Tuscan outfit in Serie A this term – but only five from the start.
