Cesena have confirmed that numerous Serie A sides are interested in key midfielder Marco Parolo.
The Italian international is again being linked with a move away after a summer of transfer speculation.
Although the Stadio Manuzzi outfit have dismissed claims that they have spoken to Cagliari about him, they have admitted that he is a wanted man.
“A lot of clubs like Parolo,” President Igor Campedelli told Sky Sport Italia. “After a tough start to the season, he’s now getting back to his best.
“We don’t want to lose him as he is an important player, but the likes of Lazio, Udinese and Fiorentina are following him.”
Parolo, who will be 27 later this month, was a revelation during his first Serie A campaign last term.
He was a major reason why the Seahorses survived the drop and he was even rewarded for his form with his first Italy cap by boss Cesare Prandelli.
Parolo was expected to be sold at the end of the 2010-11 campaign, but Cesena held on to him after buying out Chievo’s 50 per cent stake in him.
