Dejan Stankovic could consider a transfer to America before his Inter contract expires in the summer of 2014.
That is according to the Corriere dello Sport, who today cast doubt over the player’s future at the Stadio Meazza once the present campaign ends.
The Serbian, now 33, has been with the Nerazzurri since his January 2004 switch from capital club Lazio.
The attacking midfielder has made 10 Serie A appearances so far this season, yet he’s only started five of those games.
He’s also featured in three Champions League ties, but he has not scored for the Nerazzurri so far this term. He grabbed eight last season.
According to reports, a number of American clubs are interested in offering him a lucrative last contract of his career.
