Rafa Benitez is focusing on Saturday's Club World Cup Final against Mazembe rather than getting distracted by the Champions League draw.
Inter have been paired with Bayern Munich in the last 16, meaning a re-run of last year's Final at the Santiago Bernabeu is scheduled for February and March.
"I think that it will be interesting for the fans and for the protagonists on the pitch who played the Final in Madrid," Benitez said.
"Bayern are a great side led by a great Coach. But right now the most important game is that of tomorrow. Only afterwards will the European games become the most important."
Turning his attention to Mazembe, Benitez said: "Getting to the Club World Cup Final is very important. I got there with Liverpool in 2005 and we played a great match. I hope it will be like that again this time, only that we win instead."
Asked to reveal how he has prepared for the Final, Benitez replied: "We have worked like always. Our technical staff are analysing the opponent. There is the right tension because Mazembe are a different team.
"We are proud because an African side has reached the Final for the first time and we have the chance to challenge them. I expect a top class game. Winning a trophy would give us a boost for the second half of the season.
"Sneijder is injured and he can't play. Eto'o is fine. Maicon trained yesterday and will do so again today. We are thinking about being healthy.
"We watched many of Mazembe's games and we know that they are a strong team who work until the end. They are a difficult team to beat."
